Matt Gilman is a worship leader, song writer, teacher, mentor, author, and founder of Throne Room Academy. Matt’s passion is to encounter the presence of God and to see this generation experience His glory in worship, in the Scriptures, and in the place of prayer. Revelation 4:1 speaks of a door standing open in Heaven, and an invitation from a realm beyond that door to “come up here,” to experience and see a beautiful God on an eternal throne. Matt’s desire is to daily say yes to that invitation to experience as much of God as possible in this life…not only in eternity.

Matt has been honored to serve the body of Christ in many of its expressions over the past 25 years. He has led worship and ministered at hundreds of events spanning that time. Among these are TheCall (Lou Engle), TheSend (Andy Byrd, YWAM Director), The Ramp (Karen Wheaton), Zion Church in Sao Paolo, (Pastor Teo Hayashi, Dunamis Movement), The Altar Global (Jeremiah Johnson), Nations Church (Daniel Kolenda, CFAN Director), Nashirite Conference (Corey Russell), and Momentum Conference (Sean and Christa Smith). Currently, Matt is on staff as a worship leader at Deeper Fellowship Church in Orlando, FL under the pastoral care and leadership of Pastor William McDowell.

Matt lives in Orlando with his wife, Kelly, and his three children, Isaac, Caden and Halle.
